Shot by Shot Playoff Hole at the TOUR Championship
Ernie Els, Sergio Garcia, David Toms and Mike Weir went to a playoff after finishing regulation
 tied at 14-under 270.

Weir: In the center of the fairway
Garcia: Deep in the woods on the right
Toms: In the center of the fairway

There have been six previous playoffs in TOUR Championship history, none involving more than two players.

SECOND SHOT:
Els: On the green, 25 feet behind the hole
Weir: On the green, 5 feet behind the hole
Garcia: In the trees on the right, 60 yards from the green
Toms: On the green, 20 feet behind the hole

David Toms and Mike Weir have both been involved in one playoff in their PGA TOUR careers. Ironically, it was against each other at the 2000 Michelob Championship at Kingsmill, with Toms prevailing.

Mike Weir is the winner of the 2001 TOUR Championship and the $900,000 winner's check. This marks Weir's third career PGA TOUR victory and first of 2001.
