SHAKER RIB HAT
This easy-to-knit hat is very stretchy and will fit child's medium through adult small.

Instructions: Cast on 90 stitches.

Rows 1- 3 - 5 - 7 - 9   Knit

Rows 2 - 4 - 6 - 8       K1 - P1 - K1 - P1 to end

Row 10                       Knit

Row 11                       K1 - P1 - K1 - P1 to end

Repeat rows 10 and 11 until work measures 6 1/2 " from beginning.

Crown:
Row 1                         Knit 8   K2 tog across row            81 sts.

Row 2                         and all even rows - Purl

Row 3                         Knit 7 - K2 tog across row            72 sts.

Continue dec 9 sts every Knit Row to 18 sts.

Knit 2 tog across row - 9 sts
Draw up and sew back seam reversing seam for turn-up brim.
